Sitting somewhere between ESB and barley wine, what we have here is akin to a Scottish Tripel. Maris Otter and Aromatic malts provide a rich foundation for a generous hopping with Keyworth Early Season and Celeia varieties, imparting pithy lemon and grapefruit notes with candy sweetness and a gentle hint of spice. Low bitterness and a dry finish make for a smooth drinkability. An ideal choice for the winter months; rounded, warming, nourishing and intensely satisfying.
